Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with IBM Websphere
- Minimum of 5 years of Engineering support
- Minimum of 5 years of DB2 experience
- HS Diploma / GED
Responsibilities
- IBMi (AS400/iSeries/IBMi) System Administration, Cisco switch, external storage support experience
- Good written/verbal communication skills (English)
- Good problem determination skills
- Ability to work well with users/application teams
- On-call required
- Technical infrastructure Engineer primarily supporting IBMi (AS400/iSeries) infrastructure including IBM MQ and WebSphere running on the platform as well as software replication technologies (MIMIX) and Global Mirror.
- Should be experienced with IBM Power Hardware (Power 9), SAN fabric and external storage (IBM DS8K).
- This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program.
- Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.
- This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.
- They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.
