Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
  • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related studies may be considered. MS/PhD degree may constitute for additional year experience equivalency. High school/GED or associate’s degree and additional experience clearly related to the position may be considered.
  • Minimum eight (08) years of experience programming with object-oriented programming languages
  • Minimum five (05) years of experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum five (05) years of experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
  • Minimum three (03) years leading projects that develops complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks and roles.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages used in automation.
  • Knowledge of hardened automation techniques (e.g., vaulting secrets, RBAC, encrypted communications) and automating access controls/key management.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architectures and policy-based network segmentation.
  • Deep understanding of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and system configuration.
  • Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles.
  • Relevant certification like Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
