Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Drafting/Design, CADD, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in creating electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong background in industrial motor control systems and manufacturing electro-mechanical products/equipment
- In-depth experience with both AC and DC motors and VFDs
- Familiarity with NEC and UL guidelines
Responsibilities
- Create electrical drawings, control systems, and schematics for heavy industrial electro-mechanical equipment using AutoCAD Electrical
- Design and implement cutting-edge industrial motor control systems
- Work closely with engineering teams to meet project requirements and industry standards
- Apply knowledge of AC and DC motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to optimize equipment performance
- Ensure all designs comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) guidelines
- Provide support during the manufacturing process, troubleshooting electrical systems as needed
- Maintain accurate records of design specifications, revisions, and project progress
