Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in design/development engineering work experience skills OR Master’s Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of design/development engineering work experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical, cost and schedule performance for development programs.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
- Set the direction for the technical engineering team, coordinate a team of designers, drafters, analysts, technicians, and manufacturing engineers.
- Proposal volume development and costing support.
- Be the main technical contact for the customer.
- Occasional travel to support customer meetings and business development needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Fault Management design and architecture development
- Strengths in controls system design
- Experience in Requirements Management, Verification and Validation Methods, and/or Integration and Test
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and dSpace hardware for system performance and real-time modeling
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience with project planning, scheduling and resource loading; experience with MS Project.
- Experience with EVMS fundamentals
