Description –

The qualified candidate would be part of our fast-moving HP Software & Services Product Marketing team working closely with our product management, worldwide marketing, agencies, insights and content teams. 

As the Marketing Manager of Developer Programs you will own developer marketing for the Workforce Experience Platform (WXP). Your primary goal will be to increase developer/user acquisition and adoption of WXP to help drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with product managers, partner managers and the demand generation team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and events that build and support our developer community. Additionally, in this role you will support the marketing and sales enablement needed for third-party integrations.  

Working alongside key stakeholders, you will expand, plan, organize, direct, supervise, and promote all open-source and professional community events and conferences. In addition, you will promote all sponsored and organic activities through multi-touch marketing efforts, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.

We’re looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter who has a passion for technology. This position requires a combination of strong technical and marketing skills, project/program management, a passion for working with developers and deep understanding of how to build community.

This role reports to the Head of Digital Services Portfolio Marketing and will focus on the HP Workforce Experience Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build our developer marketing program from the ground up with foundational assets to drive awareness of WXP with developers and integration partners
  • Define, prioritize, and continuously improve the developer marketing roadmap based on strategic product direction
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create clear, concise and engaging messaging for developers
  • Create and edit content designed for developers, including whitepapers, blog posts, presentations, sales enablement resources, newsletters, and webinars, to effectively communicate the value of working with WXP
  • Manage and promote events, hackathons, webinars, live streaming events, and meetups
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive engagement with new releases and key features
  • Own and optimize the developer and partner communications and other recurring user communication programs
  • Build a rigorous test strategy to gain insights on what aspects of the platform excites developers
  • Scale across multiple channels to drive developer interest
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and developer needs to inform messaging and marketing roadmap
  • Drive awareness through blogs, social, newsletters, training events, webinars and other channels
  • Provide regular reporting on key performance indicators related to marketing initiatives
  • Align with your peers on best practices and a consistent approach to competitive marketing across the company

Education and Experience Required:

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing, ideally at a service, consulting, or software company
  • Previous developer marketing experience
  • Strong project management skills and high attention to detail and quality deliverables
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.

The base pay range for this role is $104,800 – $149,350 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
