Production Finance Lead

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of experience in production finance or a related field (film/TV/entertainment industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of production budgeting and accounting processes
Proficiency in Excel, financial software, and industry-specific tools (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting, EP Smart Accounting, PSL, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Assist with the creation, management, and tracking of production budgets and financial reports
Assist in hiring and managing external production accounting teams
Collaborate with production teams to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed
Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets
Prepare daily hot costs, weekly cost reports and assist with variance analysis for ongoing productions
Process and review production invoices and payment requests
Work closely with accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data
Provide financial forecasting and analysis for ongoing and upcoming productions
Support the development of cash flow projections and assist with project cash management
Assist with audits and internal reviews of financials for individual productions
Work with department heads to ensure proper allocation of financial resources
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders as needed for financial matters
