Salary Range: 18 to 18 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)
About The Role:
We are currently searching for an Intern who is passionate about Health & Wellness Public Relations to join our team. This position will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, with a focus on supporting programs and initiatives for our Health & Wellness clients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research to aid in the strategy development process for current clients and new business pitches.
- Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits.
- Draft media materials, including but not limited to press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets and pitches.
- Manage the day-to-day admin activities for 1-3 accounts.
- Monitor client and competitor media coverage and draft coverage recaps for the team.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation.
- Work closely with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of social media platforms.
- Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with the public relations, marketing, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences.
- MS Office proficiency is a must.
- Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team.
- Passion for and understanding of public relations and media landscape as it relates to Health + Wellness.
- Strong organizational skills.
