Requirements
- MD or a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or closely related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform leading edge research with clinical Alzheimer’s disease populations.
- Work in collaboration with faculty in the Kerkorian School of Medicine and the Department of Brain Health.
- Mentor, advise, and supervise graduate students in the UNLV Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Ph.D. program.
- Meet University criteria related to research, teaching, and service.
- Secure extramural grant support and publish in high impact peer reviewed journals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral experience is preferred.
