Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Data Analyst, or closely related business intelligence role
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus five (5) years of progressive experience as a Data Analyst, or closely related business intelligence role
  • Three (3) years of experience with querying data using SQL or other query and scripting languages to aggregate, gather, and manipulate data
  • Three (3) years of experience using reporting and dashboarding tools including Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical consulting support to clients in the areas of dashboard/report development, data preparation, and supporting requirements gathering
  • Participates in marketing and pre-sales efforts to win projects and build client relationships
  • Creates reports and dashboards using data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau and Power Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Develops and optimizes semantic models in analysis services tabular models and Power BI models with complex business logic
  • Writes Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to build business calculations for reporting and dashboard use
  • Develops and maintains data pipelines using Azure native services like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Spark, Python, Databricks
  • Writes advanced SQL using Presto/Hive including structured, complex, and efficient queries on large data sets and to optimize queries
  • Designs and develops scalable data warehousing solutions, building Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines in Big Data environments (cloud, on-premises, hybrid)
  • Leverages tools like R, Python, Hadoop & SQL to drive efficient analytics
  • Establishes strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in client organizations
  • Develops complex reporting and analysis to provide leadership transparency to vendor, contract, and risk management priorities; providing recommendations to achieve cost savings and vendor risk management goals
  • Leads cross functional/teams training to incorporate new methodology and streamline existing business processes and assists in creation of new business processes
  • Position is for roving employee who will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. according to business need

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS or MATLAB
  • Experience in data mining and ETL and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, and Hadoop
  • Experience designing and developing Power Platform applications
  • Experience developing and integrating Power Apps, Canvas App, Model Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Report Builder, Dataverse, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience serving as a Power Platform subject matter expert and providing knowledge transfer to the developers
  • Experience developing Power Pages to create an external website or application
  • Experience developing Power Automate flow for several approval processes/components of the Project Tracking Console
  • Experience with design and Architecture in D365 and Power Platform solutions using Model Driven Apps, Dataverse, Cloud Flows, and Power BI
  • Hands-on experience working with multiple data sources including Dataverse (CDS), SQL/Azure SQL, SharePoint, and other connectors
  • Experience with Power Automate Desktop RPA, AI Builder technologies, PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps and REST services, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents and its customization and deployment, Dynamics 365 customizations
