Requirements
- Be near completion in a doctoral program, or have a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, counselor education and supervision, or related field by the time of hire
- Possess at least two years of graduate level teaching experience
- Have demonstrated a commitment to social justice perspectives in teaching, service and practice
- Be licensed or license eligible in Massachusetts as an LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, or related professional (and/or for candidates applying to coordinate the School and Community Program, be licensed/license eligible for Massachusetts DESE School Counseling or School Adjustment Counseling licensure)
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, administrative, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Teaching a full-time course load
- Advising students in partnership with success personnel
- Participating in institutional functions
- Developing and reviewing effective teaching methods
- Collaborating on faculty evaluations
- Engaging in scholarship relevant to their expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience advising graduate students strongly preferred
