Requirements
- Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Associate Degree with 6 years of experience preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
- 5-7 years of related experience, specifically in technical support and training.
- Strong understanding of technology to solve business issues.
- Proven ability to work on strategic and tactical projects as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and execute assignments effectively.
- Experience with Windows, MacOS, portable devices, and smartphones preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate integration of new medical staff and providers with Premier systems.
- Serve as a liaison for providers regarding system access.
- Develop training materials for supported technology and systems.
- Support billing access for physicians and advance practice providers.
- Implement and support access for external facilities.
- Assist with new technology implementations and special projects.
- Provide troubleshooting support and liaise with IT teams.
- Offer round-the-clock support to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Manage security and access processes.
- Support remote access for clinical system vendors.
- Operate both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supporting physician office environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of platforms in use by physicians and advanced practice providers including but not limited to, Windows, MacOS and various portable devices and smartphones.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing training and support to users of varying technical capability.
