Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in asset or wealth management sales, distribution, or business development.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and ‘rolling up sleeves’ in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience working across product, marketing, and operations.
- Data-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and drive advisor engagement.
- Deep knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the advisor distribution landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own FAM’s AUM growth by leading strategies to maximize conversion of transitioning advisor assets and improving adoption among existing Farther advisors.
- Oversee FAM’s distribution pipeline by tracking opportunity and in-transition AUM to support forecasting and inform product/project prioritization; drive funnel improvements through analytics and advisor insights (surveys, interviews, etc.).
- Represent FAM during ‘Discovery Days,’ advisor onboardings, and prospective advisor meetings—clearly communicating FAM’s product suite, investment capabilities, and differentiated value proposition.
- Lead initiatives to expand FAM’s wallet share with current Farther advisors, such as quarterly outreach programs and tailored engagement strategies to deepen FAM adoption; use engagement data to drive advisor-specific follow-ups and campaigns.
- Own advisor education and enablement across various touchpoints such as onboarding modules, Office Hours, and ongoing training to increase familiarity and adoption of FAM products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors, proactively collecting and synthesizing feedback to influence FAM’s product and investment roadmap.
- Develop and manage FAM’s sales and training collateral, including FAM pitch decks, advisor learning modules, and GTM materials for new features or investment product; partner with Marketing to ensure messaging is aligned, consistent, and deployed effectively across channels.
- Own FAM’s positioning and messaging, ensuring a compelling and differentiated value proposition that resonates with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Continuously audit and optimize collateral, using advisor adoption data to update or retire materials and maintain a clean, high-impact content library.
- Stay ahead of market trends and advisor needs to ensure FAM’s investment offering remains competitive, relevant, and responsive to client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFP or advanced degree.
- Experience with launching new products and/or rapidly scaling sales and distribution efforts.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech environment.
