Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant annual giving/fundraising experience including 5 years of experience in online giving
- Knowledge of and experience in online giving technologies such as peer-to-peer, crowdfunding, and social media
- Experience building the donor pipeline from engagement through major gifts
- Experience in the cultivation and solicitation of Annual and Online Gifts
- Relevant track record in complex, fast-paced fundraising environment such as healthcare, higher education, cultural institutions, or nationally recognized research or advocacy enterprises
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of using data to improve performance
Responsibilities
- Managing the comprehensive and long-term communications strategy for donor engagement for the NYP Office of Development
- Creating individualized proposals and stewardship plans for high-level prospects and donors
- Overseeing recognition activities, stewardship reporting, and donor engagement materials
- Directing, managing, and guiding the Communications and Donor Engagement teams on messaging and strategy development
- Collaborating with various departments to lead the strategic vision for event collateral, multimedia, and staging for events
- Driving innovation, cross-team partnerships, and process improvements
- Providing strategic leadership related to engagement, experience, and communications for donors and prospects
