Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years as a paralegal, legal assistant or compliance professional; or Associate’s degree and 6+ years as a paralegal, legal assistant or compliance professional; or Master’s degree and 1+ years as a paralegal, legal assistant or compliance professional
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of data to analyze and disseminate information with accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint abilities
  • Familiarity with, or ability to learn, data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining the compliance investigations database and Pfizer’s various reporting channels, including the compliance helpline and website
  • Support day-to-day intake and matter opening workflow, including appropriate triage of complaints, communications with investigators and other stakeholders regarding potential compliance investigations
  • Enter data into a data management system, and ensure accuracy and quality of the data by conducting quality checks
  • Create tables, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Excel and other software for use in reports to key stakeholders and senior business leaders
  • Analyze data to develop meaningful insights and offer new and innovative ways to use data to meet stakeholder needs
  • Work closely with compliance investigators and outside counsel to help manage all aspects of compliance investigations from initial intake to final close-out; help to ensure timely movement through each phase and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide key support for investigators who conduct witness interviews, including scheduling and logistics planning (e.g., arranging for translators, venue details); collection and maintenance of materials for interviews; and preparation of outlines and key documents
  • Participate in interviews and draft comprehensive interview notes
  • Support various substantive aspects of compliance investigations as needed, including fact-gathering, data collection, document review, factual analysis and report preparation
  • Develop expertise in various compliance-related databases and effectively leverage these databases to fulfill reporting requests, including analytical/trend reports.

  • Additional language ability a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks and work independently.
