Requirements
- You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a Business related discipline including Economics, Finance or related at the time of the internship
- Knowledge of business, economics and/or finance acquired through education and experience
- Strong interest in and knowledge of financial markets
- Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with design knowledge a plus
- An organized individual with high attention to details to help improve efficiencies
- Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts
- Passion to achieve success both individually and as an integral team member
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Sales Traders with CIBC’s clients foreign exchange, commodities, and interest rate needs
- Assisting with analytical reports, financial modeling, structuring, research, transaction support, and other ad hoc requests for senior sales professionals
- Helping to grow the business
