Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited PA program required
- Current New York State Physician Assistant licensure required
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan and provide patient care to patients and their families
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience as a physician assistant in Thoracic Surgery preferred, operating experience a plus
- Proficient with patient care and basic ICU management of patients. Knowledge of chest tube placement preferred but not required
- Bilingual is a plus
