Requirements
- Experienced risk management professional
- Advanced knowledge of the insurance ecosystem to advise on and lead the procurement, renewal, and claims management processes
- Broad understanding of the relevant laws and rules necessary to effectively manage compliance functions such as contract reviews, background checks, driver credentialing, and Title IX
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide strategic direction to the Five College Risk Management Office
- Lead the development and implementation of strategy for risk management and mitigation for participating colleges and FCI
- Contribute to the enterprise risk management programs for the participating colleges
- Assume management duties for the captive insurance program
- Manage insurance procurement, claims management, compliance, and emergency preparedness
- Supervise a small team
- Report to the FCI Executive Director and select reporting duties directly to the participating colleges
