Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience as an exceptional hands-on designer and innovative creative leader
- A standout portfolio that showcases your expertise in delivering strategically-driven work across digital design (specifically web), graphic design, and brand design with clear details on your role and contributions
- A strong desire to build incredibly creative teams overflowing with diverse perspectives
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate your design vision and philosophy, build alignment with designers, cross-functional partners, and gain support from senior leadership in both presentations and feedback sessions
- Phenomenal brand development track record
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of high-performing visual designers, production designers, and UX/web designers providing guidance, feedback, and air cover
- Coach projects and execution with a hands-on approach, actively diving into the details alongside your team
- Create world-class designs for a variety of marketing and brand assets across web design, multi-channel campaigns, social marketing, and performance marketing
- Collaborate effectively and closely with a broad set of stakeholders—design leadership, visual and production designers, art directors, copywriters, marketers, product managers, engineers, creative producers, operations teams, and executives—to develop a diverse range of marketing assets
- Drive and manage workflows and relationships with web dev teams and collaborate with product design on processes and systems
- Showcase depth of knowledge across LegalZoom’s products and services, business strategies, and goals
- Effectively manage senior and c-level executive stakeholders and their expectations throughout projects
- Proactively seek feedback from cross-functional partners, and share a strong point of view backed up with personal expertise, customer input, and industry trends
- Shape the Brand & Creative team culture by critiquing assets, sharing inspiration and trends, and being an active part of the team’s day-to-day operations
- Juggle multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
- Think on your feet and execute quickly against deadlines
