Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
- 0 to 1 years of experience
- Ability to learn and understand nuclear physics related to electron, gamma-ray, and neutron behavior on solid state electronic components
- Ability to communicate to broad audiences both technical and non-technical information
- Ability to be a team player and receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership
- Working knowledge of various electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeter, SMUs, etc.)
- Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Understanding, familiarity and/or experience with microelectronics devices, LabVIEW, Altium, Printed Circuit Board (PCBs)
- Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions
- Understanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start)
Responsibilities
- Develop radiation effect aware SPICE models for semiconductors
- Leverage available modeling products to conduct TCAD simulations
- Implement worst-case analysis scenarios in circuit design while incorporating programming and statistical applications as needed
- Attend national radiation conferences
- Perform design, development, or review of tasks in specific areas under close supervision
- Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence
- Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications
- Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications
- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures
