Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within the IT industry.
- Familiarity with private equity firms, their investment strategies, and their portfolio companies.
- A well-established network of connections within the private equity community and IT industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- A self-starter with a hunter’s mindset, eager to seek out and close new business opportunities.
- Experience managing relationships with key advisors, analysts, or influencers in the IT space.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex IT solutions to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with key private equity firms that have portfolio companies in need of IT solutions.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities by leveraging PE connections, with a focus on IT transformation projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between Hitachi Digital Services and private equity firms, ensuring strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify portfolio companies with IT needs and craft tailored value propositions.
- Position Hitachi Digital Services as a trusted partner for PE firms by sharing industry insights, market trends, and innovative IT solutions.
- Work with portfolio companies to shorten sales cycles and accelerate deal closures.
- Attend industry events, PE roundtables, and networking forums to strengthen Hitachi Digital Services’ presence in the PE community.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with private equity firms and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT services, digital transformation, or enterprise technology solutions.
- Established network within the private equity community.
- Familiarity with IT industry trends such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
