Responsibilities

  • Generating ideas and creating concepts for design and layout materials from draft stage through to finished product
  • Working closely with Creative and Client Service teams to ensure adherence to client’s marketing strategies and objectives within specified deadlines
  • Managing and mentoring creatives that report to them and as needed on projects
  • Reviewing all materials for consistency in layout guidelines and all branding elements
  • Working with copy partner to skillfully produce work across all channels that communicate the client’s message about the product for both the overall campaign
  • Following-through and communicating with Creative Shared Services to ensure smooth flow of jobs to meet deadlines
  • Developing goals with each direct report and conducting performance reviews and regular 1:1s to provide coaching, support career plans, and provide learning opportunities
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the internal creative team’s capabilities & freelance talent; recommending those that are best suited to achieving the desired results
  • Fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion on the team
  • Maintaining awareness of budget requirements and limits; alerting Client Service in advance when work exceeds budget and obtaining appropriate approvals to follow through
  • Developing strong relationships with all cross discipline internal teams
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends and sharing knowledge with internal teams
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of product challenges in relation to overall market
  • Complete understanding of market trends and marketing briefs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Visual Communications, Graphic Design or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred
