Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of study.
- Eight + years of experience as a UI/UX Developer or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design process and front-end development skills.
- Proficiency in UI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, etc.)
- Excellent front-end development skills with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, SQL.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., GIT).
- Experience with responsive design principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in shaping the user experience by designing user-centric, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that ensure seamless user interactions in an agile environment.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, program managers, and software developers to translate user needs and business requirements into design solutions.
- Ensure Section 508 compliant solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, surveys, etc.)
- Familiarity with back-end technologies and APIs.
- Experience with mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with data visualization principles.
