Requirements
- 15+ years of experience leading brand, copy and design functions within high-growth B2B organizations—preferably a mix of startups and scaled global brands.
- Proven expertise in brand positioning, storytelling, and content strategy that fuels business growth and elevates brand equity.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Descript, Midjourney), creative collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Canva, Adobe CC), and content delivery systems (e.g., CMS, DAMs).
- Demonstrated success applying AI and automation to accelerate and personalize high quality assets and content creation.
- Deep understanding of digital channels, SEO, paid media, and social content—especially performance-focused content and creative for SMB tech audiences.
- Strong editorial instincts and design sensibility across web, email, ads, and social.
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- A coach-player mindset with a strong bias for action, innovation, and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a forward-looking, insight-driven brand strategy and its activation. Define and evolve brand positioning, visual design and identity, and voice and tone across all marketing channels and entire customer journey.
- Partner with Digital and Demand Generation to align content strategy with audience needs, funnel stages, and channel-specific performance. Oversee the design and creation of high-performing, multi-format content/assets including website, blog posts, social media, videos, ads, events and emails. Use and integrate GenAI tools into design and copy creation to increase scale, personalization, and speed without compromising quality.
- Design scalable and agile creative operations—ensuring high-quality, fast-turn copy & design delivery. Lead briefing, timeline, and review processes across internal and external resources with structured checkpoints and quality standards. Champion process innovation to improve output velocity, alignment, and effectiveness.
- Own and evolve brand guidelines across company—ensuring consistency of design, voice, tone, and visual. Manage brand presence across digital platforms, including website, social media, events, and partner campaigns.
- Lead and coach a high-performing team of copy, design, and video professionals. Foster a strong team rooted in creativity and accountability.
- Build a flexible resource model that combines an internal team with trained external freelancers and agencies for agile execution. Manage and allocate budget to ensure optimal return on spend and resource utilization.
