Senior Windows System Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Windows OS (all versions), VMware (all versions), AD, DNS, and GxP processes.
• Extensive experience in Windows PowerShell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in developing and managing SOWs.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) are a plus.
• Able to commute onsite 3-4 days/week to Sleepy Hollow, NY OR Basking Ridge, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Windows OS, VMware on Converged infrastructures, AD, DNS, Certificate management.
• Acts as a team lead, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
• Serves as the technology mentor for practitioners within and across project teams.
• Interfaces and communicates with mid-level client leadership that may include technical presentations, in their area of expertise.
• Collaborate with architects to identify and evaluate new project opportunities.
• Develop and convert project opportunities into detailed Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with GxP processes and other regulatory requirements.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for team members and clients.
• Participate in project planning, implementation, and review meetings.
• Takes responsibility for the integrity and delivery of the larger solution or major infrastructure solution area as designated in the project plan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) are a plus.
