Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years work experience and demonstrated success in designing, developing and implementing customer payment services at a FinTech company in a Treasury function.
- FinTech/Financial Services experience working with Product required.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Payment Operations and external banking partners/payment acquirer/processors.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work independently and lead projects.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, communication and time management skills.
- Ability to think tactically and understand the impact of individual processes on the big picture.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth and dynamic environment.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills to synthesize and prepare concise flash decks for leadership and present to Finance and broader committees.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, banking or accounting.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of BILL’s payment products, payment partners, features and benefits, and product development roadmap.
- Liaise with Treasury Operations to cascade product information for downstream impact assessment and advocate for other finance teams’ engagement.
- Responsible for intake and management of multiple product/go-to-market enablement initiatives across multiple revenue streams and liaise with Treasury Operations to communicate and gather the requirements for seamless product enablement.
- Design and determine the best operational measurements for key initiatives post-launch.
- Backup to the Treasury Operations team to run daily, monthly and quarterly operations.
- Support, create and implement a money movement internal controls matrix, policies and standard operating procedures in partnership with Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Conduct deep dive reviews to identify process gaps and risks.
- Develop tactical action plans to establish, prioritize, and measure short/long-term milestones to implement risk controls improvements to close any gaps – internal and external solutions.
- Participate in the development of a robust product enablement strategic roadmap to support BILL’s growth.
- Ensure the effective and efficient design of operations and financial controls over money movement processes, including a business continuity plan for proper controls and standards.
- Benchmark controls with other fintech companies to establish a world-class payments landscape.
- Manage and review FBO customer cash balance reports and implement treasury requirements to enhance financial insights.
- Implement cadence for quarterly relationship meetings with banks and payment partners.
- Lead regular banking and payment partner meetings to monitor progress on product rollouts and anticipated regulatory developments.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIA and CISA certification preferred.
