Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the principles relating to the design and operation of paralleling switchgear systems and custom switchgear solutions
- Familiarity with financial, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of custom switchgear projects
- Knowledge of organization’s budget process
- Knowledge of the resources required to achieve business objectives
- Knowledge of managing conflicts
- Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques
- Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources
Responsibilities
- Direct leadership to the Caterpillar Switchgear custom switchgear project management team
- Overseeing the hiring, performance, development and management of the custom switchgear team
- Designing, establishing and monitoring the organization’s project management goals
- Lead a team of Project Managers and analysts who plan, schedule, manage, supervise, and oversee the execution of broad and complex custom switchgear projects
- Management / escalation of financial, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the custom switchgear projects
- Manage commercial aspects and support technical direction to various other project teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience desired
