Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, cloud technologies, and product development.
- Proven experience working with engineering, product, and data teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact between the Product and Data Cloud teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all Data Cloud initiatives and how they intersect with Product team projects, always keeping the business impact in mind to drive strategic alignment and maximize value.
- Proactively identify and address potential duplication of efforts between teams.
- Communicate project dependencies and risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Take a hands-on approach to collaboration across teams, proactively troubleshooting issues, removing roadblocks, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.
- Gather business requirements, translate them into actionable tasks, and open and track tickets with the Product team to support Data Cloud initiatives.
- Work closely with the Product team to prioritize tickets based on business impact and technical feasibility.
- Ensure timely updates and resolutions by following up with Product Managers (PMs) and engineers.
- Demonstrate agility to pivot strategies as needed, effectively aligning teams to new directions while ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder buy-in.
- Establish and maintain project timelines for key initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Provide regular status updates to the Data Cloud team on Product team dependencies and vice versa.
- Monitor project progress, identify blockers, and facilitate resolution.
- Ensure that the Product team’s roadmap aligns with the Data Cloud team’s needs.
- Advocate for Data Cloud priorities within the Product organization.
- Continuously assess opportunities to improve cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in processing large-scale datasets using Big Data tools like Spark and Hive.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.
- Background in data engineering, analytics, or cloud computing.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and Gen AI tools.
