Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; technical degree preferred.
- Five years of relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial plant equipment.
- Ability to provide leadership to the team for daily and routine work direction.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimum notice.

- May be required to work overtime hours during planned and un-planned maintenance outages.
Responsibilities
- Overhaul or maintain operating condition of the facility’s industrial production and processing machinery.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Operate the lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Assist or direct less experienced mechanics as required.
- Oversees daily tasks and provides technical assistance, guidance, and recommendations.
- Reviewing and assisting in establishing day-to-day work order priorities.
- Direct mechanics based on plant priorities.
- Inspecting and approving completed work done by the mechanic.
- Planning and scheduling maintenance work.

- Assist Maintenance Manager with Outage execution.
- Lead contractor and employee maintenance projects and activities.
