Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in video editing, including leadership roles in post-production.
- Proven track record of editing high-quality video content across multiple formats and platforms, including social, digital and broadcast.
- Experience developing and implementing post-production workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior editors and videographers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the post-production process, shaping the narrative and visual tone of video projects in alignment with the team’s creative vision.
- Develop and enforce editing guidelines, workflows, and quality benchmarks for the Films team.
- Execute advanced editing tasks, including cutting footage, integrating motion graphics, sound design and color grading to elevate the final product.
- Serve as senior videographer at shoots, including operating cameras, leading in lighting setups, adjusting equipment and troubleshooting on site.
- Oversee post-production workflows, including file organization, asset management, and adherence to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an in-house creative team or agency setting, particularly in retail or consumer-facing industries (preferred).
- Digital Content Management, Editorial, Retail Management, Supervising Associates, WE-Working for or with Creative Agencies
