Requirements

  • Five to Six in a sales/business development role, with at least two years in a supervisor or other management role.
  • One or more years of solar, energy, real estate development or comparable industry experience in a sales/business development role, with a successful track record for originating new business.
  • Proficient in performance evaluation and the ability to coach and mentor staff.
  • Strategic thinking with a knack for identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Project Management skills, and a ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and report generation.
  • Knowledge management to effectively capture and utilize informational assets.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, manage and develop an Origination team that meets Nexamp’s growth objectives in all target markets and product verticals.
  • Leverage internal platforms and technology tools to identify, implement, and optimize efficient and effective, data-driven sales processes that promote a high-performance team.
  • Develop and manage personnel training and development strategies to augment skills and maximize throughput of all team members.
  • Work with Business Development leadership to establish resource allocation plans, and tailor effective origination strategies in current and emerging markets, across product verticals.
  • Enforce data management and compliance standards across team.
  • Develop and manage external lead referral partners, as needed, to support origination efforts while maintaining Nexamp’s professional standards and market/site-specific diligence requirements.
  • Occasional travel required.
