Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience as a business analyst – experience in investment management or financial services is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, lead project prioritization discussions and drive a product vision and roadmap.
- Organized, detail-oriented and extremely thorough with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage time and priorities under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Team-oriented individual with the ability to work well across diverse groups in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with a propensity to learn new applications quickly.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with a grounded understanding of relational databases.
- Exposure to business intelligence and low code applications including MS Power Platform, Sigma Computing, Looker or similar tools.
- Experience documenting end-to-end functional, technical, reporting, and data requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee third-party technology vendor relationships for deal pipeline, investment reporting and portfolio management applications – including enhancement queue management and system bug tracking.
- Manage multi-functional, complex projects in a fast-paced environment including systems implementations, process design / automation initiatives, application development and reporting and analytics solutions.
- Provide white-glove support for third-party and internal applications including production troubleshooting, testing and data management.
- Produce clear and detailed collateral supporting the solutions development process including user stories, technical business requirements, mock-ups and functional prototypes.
- Participate in the agile development process, produce high quality agile artifacts and collaborate closely with in-house software developers throughout the development process.
- Design thorough quality assurance (QA) testing plans for ensuring the reliability and integrity of solutions.
- Leverage low-code and business intelligence tools to build solutions when applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investment management or financial services is preferred.
