Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
- 1-3 years of corporate legal experience, either at a law firm or in financial services
- Familiarity with formation of various types of legal entities in global jurisdictions (Delaware, Bermuda and Luxembourg a plus)
- Experience maintaining corporate minute books and records, coordinating transactional documents with great attention to detail
- Highly analytical with strong intuition; able to think and react quickly
- Strong project management skills – time management, pattern recognition, prioritization and strong judgement are critical; ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality
- Exceptional follow through, reliability and desire to consistently deliver results
- Resourceful with the ability to work independently and proactively in a high performing global organization
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and capable of working effectively cross functionally
- Demonstrated maturity and professional presence; comfortable interacting with senior executives
- Highly motivated, inquisitive, an active listener and quick learner with a positive can-do attitude
- Team player excited to grow within an expanding legal department, learn the ‘why’ and develop institutional knowledge
- Proficiency in Adobe and PowerPoint as well as basic Excel and Outlook familiarity
Responsibilities
- Document Management
- Formation and Dissolution of Entities
- Directors & Officers Questionnaires
- Regulatory & Anti-Trust Filings
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Requests
- Monitoring and responding to various legal information requests
- Coordination of signatures, including e-signatures via DocuSign
