Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails or similar scripting languages.
- 3+ years of experience with a relational database technology (Postgres preferred).
- Ability to analyze requirements and provide insight into ways to improve designs.
- Experience designing small to medium scale systems.
- Hands on, passionate, persistent, creative, and humble — you get things done.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React).
- Independently design and communicate technical solutions and strategies within the team.
- Conduct thorough code and design reviews.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum teams for effective project execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to, Lamba, EKS, and RDS.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest).
- Experience with API design and development.
