Requirements
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Some previous work as a reporter
- Natural curiosity about local news
- Willingness to learn from experienced newsroom reporters, producers, and editors
Responsibilities
- Help with daily news and production needs
- Work across the newsroom with other reporters and editors
- Learn to write audio and digital news
- Produce multimedia content
- Record field audio
- Edit audio
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of college or some other form of education and/or certification in journalism or media field(s)
