Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- General golf knowledge is required
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Possess a willingness to be beneficial, courteous and professional as this is the first contact golfing guests have with SentryWorld
Responsibilities
- Greet golfers near the first tee and warm-up tee area. Ensures that golfers have checked in with the pro shop and paid the appropriate golf fees before warming up and teeing off.
- Provide golfers with a verbal introduction to the golf course and its history, including information about the golf course’s designer, recent renovations, championships hosted, pace of play guidelines, course rules, procedures, and cart restrictions.
- Direct guests to the warm-up tee, refreshment stations, first tee and tenth tee.
- Monitor pace of play for all golfers on the course, addressing pace issues or disputes between golf groups as needed.
- Assist guests on the golf course with lost golf clubs, rides/transportation needs, pace of play assistance, and other guest needs as required.
