Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 5 years of proposal or material estimating experience OR a Master’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 3 years of proposal or material estimating experience
  • Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principles
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 8 years of proposal or material estimating experience OR a Master’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 6 years of proposal or material estimating experience
  • Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principles
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Update Supplier forecasts monthly
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review forecasts & disclose concerns
  • Collect reasoning for & document variances in actuals from the plan
  • Report how variances impact the future Supplier financials
  • Understand cost structure and drivers to support analysis and forecasting.
  • Delivering high quality financial analysis and forecasts to support corporate decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with program cost analysis in an engineering and manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of government contract environment (FAR and DFARS)
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting standards, generally accepted accounting principles and accounting/proposal auditing techniques
  • Familiarity with the concept and application of Cost Improvement Curves
  • Intimate background with Global Supply Chain Subcontract/Procurement requirements, FAR proposal adequacy and execution
