Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 5 years of proposal or material estimating experience OR a Master’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 3 years of proposal or material estimating experience
- Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principles
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 8 years of proposal or material estimating experience OR a Master’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 6 years of proposal or material estimating experience
- Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principles
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Responsibilities
- Update Supplier forecasts monthly
- Conduct weekly meetings to review forecasts & disclose concerns
- Collect reasoning for & document variances in actuals from the plan
- Report how variances impact the future Supplier financials
- Understand cost structure and drivers to support analysis and forecasting.
- Delivering high quality financial analysis and forecasts to support corporate decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with program cost analysis in an engineering and manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of government contract environment (FAR and DFARS)
- Working knowledge of cost accounting standards, generally accepted accounting principles and accounting/proposal auditing techniques
- Familiarity with the concept and application of Cost Improvement Curves
- Intimate background with Global Supply Chain Subcontract/Procurement requirements, FAR proposal adequacy and execution
