Software Engineer II – Node.js

BS/MS (preferred) in Computer Science / Engineering or a related technical field
5+ years of backend development experience with 2+ years of focus in Node.js
Working knowledge and understanding of Linux, RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and version control systems such as Git
Comfortable tackling complex technical problems and collaborating with others to find optimal solutions
Understanding of designing Web-based, Service-Oriented systems
A track record of impactful contributions under guidance

Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and efficient backend services using modern technologies and frameworks
Perform code reviews
Participate in application troubleshooting and support, including a rotating assignment on pager duty for production issues
Write high-quality, well-tested code that is maintainable and adheres to best practices in software engineering
Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance to improve speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Take ownership of your personal development by keeping up with the latest backend technologies, tools, and best practices. Continuously improve the development process and share knowledge within the team

Experience integrating Data Science models into scalable platforms
Experience with PHP and SQL
Familiarity with Build Management, Continuous Integration, and Automated Testing (Maven, Jenkins)
