Requirements
- Qualified candidate will possess at least 10 years of network or major market experience in management and multi-platform operations dealing in the execution of domestic and/or international productions.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence.
- Ability to lead and inspire multiple team members, including professional development and workload management.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of managers and/or supervisors and technical operating personnel in support of live studio and event productions.
- Creates and monitors technical training programs and employee progress.
- Prepares and delivers employee performance evaluations; recommends merit increases & possible yearly and spot bonus awards.
- Coordinates and oversees technical operations and/or campus facilities (studios and control rooms) to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Participates in planning with various Production partners as well as all other clients (Marketing, Human Resources, Affiliate Divisions, etc.) to ensure the adequacy of technical facilities and staff to achieve targeted results.
- Manages emergency activities resulting from equipment failures.
- Ensures proper operational triaging and documentation for issues affecting the on-air operation.
- Follows up on deviations to identify and isolate special and systemic problems.
- Required to participate in the planning and development of new innovative operations approaches including but not limited to systems, workflow, workforce, and facilities.
- Responsible for long range planning of personnel and capital.
- Responsible for overall leadership and management of assigned teams including but not limited to; recruiting, compensation, performance management, communication, and recognition.
- Leads the creation and implementation of training and development programs to improve the competency of the production operations staff; evaluates the progress of the staff in their training through reporting managers.
- Plans and coordinates with engineering groups on the installation and implementation of new equipment.
- Evaluate and educate subordinates in follow through procedures for reports, technical troubleshooting and workflow efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the technical equipment involved in producing shows and multi-network operations.
