Requirements

  • extensive experience in a strategic insights/consumer research role within CPG
  • proficient in various market research techniques, including both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • worked with both primary and secondary data sources
  • knowledgeable of syndicated research tools (e.g. Nielsen, Circana, etc.) as well as agile research tools, methodologies, and applications
  • strong understanding of marketing processes, business strategy, and brand renovation
  • strong storytelling skills and ability to influence all levels of an organization

Responsibilities

  • Leading critical initiatives based on business goals, including consumer de-averaging, strategic brand renovations, point of difference, portfolio strategy, etc. by developing and executing comprehensive research plans
  • Guiding the strategic direction and positioning of renovation and value-engineering initiatives by delivering clear consumer insights, strategic guardrails/action-standards for success, etc.
  • Leading yearly strategic grounding analyses for supporting categories—Spoonables (Mayo), Salad Dressing, and BBQ—in preparation for situational assessment/brand plans
  • Conducting bi-annual brand health assessments for the Kraft Enhancers portfolio and Primal Kitchen
  • Developing research best practices for the organization
  • Working with research vendors to provide best-in-class research approaches for agility, speed and breakthrough insights
