Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP), Salesforce, and other financial systems.
  • Expertise in managing financial operations for a global company, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-improvement mindset.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and drive operational excellence.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with FP&A to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Optimize and automate accounting processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition practices and adherence to accounting policies.
  • Support capital planning and financing strategies, including securing lines of credit and optimizing banking relationships.
  • Oversee financial system integrations, particularly with NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Support senior leadership with financial analysis and insights to drive business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, RevOps, Legal, etc.) to align financial strategy with company goals.
  • Implement best practices for cash flow management and working capital optimization.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-growth technology company is a strong plus.
