Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or life sciences required.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in developing a global brand strategy in pharmaceuticals working with cross-functional matrix teams required.
- Prior experience in managing product commercialization, along with marketing strategy required.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and lead stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Develops vision, positioning and message house.
- Defines the patient journey, along with the treatment algorithm.
- Works to develop an overall upstream marketing toolkit.
- Defines business case /lead indication and target markets on a global level.
- Works to establish the product roadmap, including the plan, organization and execution for commercial activities of the asset.
- Ensures regulatory and development strategy aligns to the market access strategy for each region by establishing the value proposition, pricing, and reimbursement for the given area.
- Collaborates as part of a matrixed team prior to Phase 3 trials for deliverables on the assigned asset to ensure desired commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate and lead the project with Manufacturing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and integration of commercial strategies throughout the product life cycle.
- Utilizes market research, along with competitive intelligence to make decisions regarding the asset.
- Manages the product profitability and overall commercial success.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of commercialization efforts, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
- Monitor and act on risks and opportunities, including escalating as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above preferred.
- Experience with diagnostic products and urology strongly preferred.
- Experience in radiopharmaceuticals preferred.
- Proven track record in launch strategy development and managing pre-launch activities to drive revenue and profits.
