Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (such as other Engineering disciplines)
- 2+ years of experience in security engineering or DevSecOps, with a focus on AWS and infrastructure security
- Proficient in building tools and automation in Python, including testing, documentation, and deployment
- Experience with deploying in Kubernetes (EKS preferred); experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build security tooling and automation to integrate security earlier in the software development lifecycle, ensuring both preventative and detective measures are in place to manage threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security controls with industry-standard compliance requirements (e.g. ISO, NIST, SOC2)
- Provide security expertise across our entire tech stack in the form of design reviews and threat modeling
- Respond to security events, including isolating, mitigating, and investigating active threats
- Establish and promote security recommendations and best practices, as well as perform research and provide security insight.
