RN / LPN Staff Nurse

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN / LPN in this State
• Current BLS CPR Certification including in-person skills assessment

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement health care plan(s) and other nursing duties as an RN
• Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and regulations
• Comply with all written policies and procedures and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility
• Participate in assuring the implementation of the established health care plan(s) for residents as an LPN
• Support ongoing data collection as an LPN

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two (1-2) years of nursing experience in a hospital or nursing facility
