Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Strong background in game protection, investigative procedures, and team leadership within a resort or casino setting
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of gaming regulations
• Exceptional investigative skills with a focus on detecting fraud and compliance risks
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with internal teams, regulators, and law enforcement

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage surveillance operations across gaming machines, video monitoring, lottery, cage booth cashiers, simulcast operations, and audio/visual recording of count room activities
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations by cooperating with the local Gaming Commission and external agencies
• Lead internal audits of the Surveillance Room, ensuring adherence to gaming and internal controls
• Provide direct leadership by fostering a team-oriented environment, offering performance feedback, and ensuring employee recognition, development, and succession planning
• Manage the Surveillance team, including hiring, training, coaching, issuing commendations and discipline, and delegating assignments
• Develop and maintain budgets and Capital Expenditure Requests for the department, ensuring resource efficiency
• Evaluate and enhance surveillance systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is fully operational and up to date, managing repairs and replacements as necessary
• Review daily activity reports and direct asset protection efforts, creating detailed logs and reports for senior leadership
• Conduct investigations utilizing all available surveillance systems and maintain electronic files and surveillance documentation for future reference
