Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferably ADP & Greenhouse.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, executing and refining all HR procedures and policies.
- Provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Suggest and implement new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and the organization as a whole.
- Oversee all people centered Projects and initiatives, including working closely with third-party vendors such as Velocity Global and Perform Yard.
- Regularly meet with department heads and people leaders to address any concerns and proactively manage potential employee relations issues.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and recruitment coordination as necessary.
- Work with People Leaders to post open roles and be the final screening interview ensuring candidates are a good culture fit.
- Prepare documentation, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service for all employee inquiries.
- Support HR analytics by creating spreadsheets and writing reports.
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- Ensure legal compliance with HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws.
- Update policies and/or procedures as required.
- Manage employee relations matters, including corrective actions and separations.
- Oversee leave processes and address any related issues.
- Work closely with the Payroll & Benefits Manager in overseeing HR information systems (HRIS), payroll, and benefits administration, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data processing and record-keeping.
- Evaluate and optimize benefits offerings and rates tailored to employees’ needs.
- Assist with the execution of the Annual Review Process using Perform Yard.
- Review and revise performance management systems to ensure alignment with the unique nature of the organization’s operations.
- Enhance the effectiveness and relevance of performance management for all employees.
- Participate in strategic planning for HR functions to align with business goals and improve overall organizational performance.
- Develop and maintain a tailored employee handbook reflecting the specific needs and practices of the organization.
