Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in discipline appropriate to assignment.
- Fundamental knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
- Must have a desire to learn and adapt in a corporate environment.
- Must have strong self-starter skills and willing to collaborate within a team environment.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must have a basic understanding of information security principles, network protocols, and security technologies.
- High flexibility, including willingness to travel up to 10% of working time.
Responsibilities
- Interface with the technical and business user community to support incoming security requests and tickets submitted by users.
- Contribute to the protecting the integrity and confidentiality of HUB data and infrastructure while enabling business functionality in all systems and environments by learning to support applicable security solutions.
- Learn about the security tools and solutions implemented within the organization.
- Assist in development of new security processes and participate in playbook improvements.
- Assist in supporting the Identity Access Management team.
- Learn to gather and report on key organizational information security metrics.
- Complete “capstone” project that is to be defined.
- Provide Level I Support for incident and request tickets escalated from other technical teams.
- Communicate with stakeholders to assist remediation efforts.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly posture and response operations reporting.
- Other duties assigned.
