Requirements
- Have a Nurse Practitioner degree, with experience practicing Obesity Medicine, including effective evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy
- Are licensed to practice and prescribe legally and credentialed with insurance payers in California
- Experience for this role includes 3+ years in outpatient or virtual obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics, and/or 3 + years of obesity medicine experience in a primary care setting
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Are committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
- Have prior experience conducting telemedicine visits and who have a great ‘web-side’ manner
