Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- General fabrication skills; welding (ARC, MIG & TIG), torch, cutting equipment, able to follow simple blueprints, and grinders
- Ability to read blueprints
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities
- Apply general mechanical knowledge/abilities in basic electrical blueprints and meters
- Apply general plumbing skills
- Vocation Technical training in related field plus 8 years’ experience in related field, or 10 years plus of experience in related field
Responsibilities
- Perform PM’s, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment with minimal supervision (Maintenance B)
- Perform PM’s, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment without direct supervision (Maintenance A)
- Inventory and control stock of supplies
- Perform PM’s as required; lubricants, dismantling, cleaning of parts
- Assist in machine installation/assemble
- Disassemble and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and perform necessary repairs (Maintenance A)
- Design layout and install plumbing projects (Maintenance A)
- Troubleshoot without direct supervision (Maintenance A)
