Business Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, finance, business, or similar discipline
1-3 years of experience in finance or business-related role preferred
An analytical mind with experience in business and financial analysis
Creative problem solving / outside-the-box thinking
Good judgement; you will be asked to make decisions without constant oversight
Proficient in Excel modeling and data analysis
Proficient in SQL or other coding language
Energy and attention to detail; this is a fast-moving environment and getting the small things right is critical for success

Support various areas of the business by using data analysis to inform decision makers and management
Complete opportunity sizing analyses for potential health system partners
Represent the pulse of the company through daily, weekly and monthly reports and analyses on key company functions
Problem-solve with team members using data-driven approach
Develop, implement and maintain financial and operational forecasting models; track performance and communicate discrepancies to the team
Guide other teams by researching, analyzing and interpreting data
Apply observations and recommendations to increase productivity
Protect organization by keeping information confidential
Expand knowledge of Shields and specialty pharmacy by participating in the educational opportunities we offer and reading professional publications
