Requirements

  • BS in engineering field + 10 years relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership and/or project management experience.
  • Proven Digital Circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development process for foundational IPs (SRAM’s, Standard Cells, Digital Customs) used in Apple custom chips.
  • Drive the development cycle/flow, circuit design issues, CAD interaction, Testchip development/analysis.
  • Use creativity, technical knowledge and organizational skills to drive cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems under tight schedule constraints.
  • Work directly with hardware Technology teams and be responsible for working closely with design, CAD and technology teams to craft a project plan, identify/resolve blockers, and align DCG team work across multiple parallel projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program / project management experience leading Silicon projects, or a combination of Program Management and design experience.
  • Post silicon debug skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire team members.
  • A background successfully handling conflicting priorities and driving results.
  • Experience with successfully delivering multiple silicon tapeouts.
  • Strong desire to own project development and drive team to success.
  • Enjoy sharing in the success of delivering a successful product.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong time and task management skills with consistent attention to detail.
  • Can work collaboratively across multiple sites and cross-functionally throughout the entire organization.
  • Able to build trust and lead through influence.
  • Comfortable navigating tough situations, juggling priorities and managing constraints while running complex, fast-paced programs.
  • Driven to continuously improve processes, methodologies and tools.
  • Drive weekly schedule and communication meetings with upper management.
